PermaRock Track (Rail) EPS External Wall Insulation System

Description

The PermaRock Track-EPS system is a mechanically fixed external wall insulation (EWI) system which can be installed to create a drained cavity space behind the insulation panels to meet the specific requirements of NHBC, Zurich and other building insurers for external wall insulation application to timber and metal frame constructions in new buildings.

The use of tracks to support the insulation enables greater flexibility in overcoming deficiencies in irregular or uneven backgrounds, to achieve very flat surfaces upon completion.

Key Features

• For buildings up to 18 m in height.
• Fire tested in accordance with BS 8414-2: 2005 - compliant with BR 135.
• Class O fire rating*
• NHBC / Zurich (and other building insurer) compliant drained cavities can be incorporated.
• Track (rail) fixed system can achieve very flat surfaces, and overcomes deficiencies in irregular or uneven backgrounds.
• Lightweight insulation.
• Insulation thermal conductivity: 0.038 W/m·K.
• Has a working design life of 30 years.

*Non-combustible fire breaks should be introduced at each floor level above second-floor level.
