Description

Designed specifically to meet the requirements of The Department for Transport publication ‘Guidance on the use of Tactile Paving Surfaces’ to help guide users with visual impairments around the urban environment.

Our Tactile Flag Paving range can be combined with our specialist kerb systems to offer integrated roadside approach and safety solutions, such as road crossings and passenger vehicle boarding points. Available in red and buff colours, designed for different purposes. Red Tactile paving is used at controlled crossings such as Pelican and Zebra crossings, whilst the Buff is used at uncontrolled crossings such as drop crossings to guide the user safely across the road.
