Rockwool ProRox SL 960 Acoustic Slab, formally known as Rockwool RW5 Acoustic Slab, is the highest density of the Rockwool range that we stock. This means it has superior fire protection to the others because of how compact it is. This product is made from natural volcanic rock materials, with added limestone and coke, which is then woven into wool and impregnated with resin. The tiny air pockets that are trapped within the wool give it such brilliant thermal insulation properties. It requires literally no maintenance after application because it effectively retains its performance and structure over time.
